My Aunt Got Santa!... and meet my family.

Okay, some background... first off, NO, we don't really do the whole "santa" thing... we tell our children who he was and how it started, but we don't have the Christmas gifts come from "Santa", they come from us - or whoever the giver is. BUT.... my family is another story. LOL....

My Aunt, who hosted us all at her home on Christmas Eve IS a Christian... and such a sweet lady. She thought it would be such fun and an awesome idea to have Santa (her buddy who does a good santa) come to hand out everyone's presents to them. They were even already in his sack when he came. It was such a sweet gesture that I'm sure took a lot of planning. My kids didn't totally know how to respond... but Isaiah kept leaning over into Gabriel and whispering, "SEE?! I told you!!" Haha.

It was also funny when Santa took the kids on his lap and asked Isaiah what he wanted for Christmas... see... a week or so prior we were at a Mexican restaurant and there was a Santa there who asked the boys what they wanted. Well, Isaiah had clearly told him that he want some Indiana Jones Legos. So, when this new santa asked Ike what he wanted, Ike said, "I already told you!!" LOL A fun memory, for sure.

LOVE this picture of Keturah.... she was NOT about to sit on Santa's lap though. Nu uh.

My silly sister... she is such fun.. we have a blast together every time we meet. She is 9 years younger than I.

My mother. Hee hee... so funny to see her on Santa's lap.

My brother... he is 3 years younger, but he is 6 foot 4 and a big guy. But a teddy bear inside. He had to sit on santa too. :)

And... me. The man playing santa was SUCH a sweet man... he said that "Malachi is the most precious gift we could have ever gotten and that is what Christmas is all about." What a sweet thing to say. Just had to share these funny photos! :):)

So cute. That Santa is a good one. He even has a red shiny type nose. Hey . . . maybe I am confusing Santa with Rudolph. But doesn't Santa have a red nose too? Not one that lights up, just one that is red from being, you know, jolly??? Hmmmm . . . anyhow - cute pictures.
