Josiah's Piano Adjudication

Josiah recently had the opportunity to participate in our state adjudications for piano. He played two classical pieces that he had learned and memorized for the adjudicator, and then she "critiqued" him for 10 minutes. She gave advice and offered help on how to continue his growth as a piano player. She was very impressed with how far Josiah has come in his first year of playing, and so are we!! She even said that she was hardpressed to find something to correct! Good job, son! February marked his 1 year anniversary of beginning lessons... and we couldn't be more pleased with his progress. It must be his amazing teacher, right Julie?!? Thank you Julie, also, for encouraging us to participate in the adjudications... it was a blessing. :) We are so proud of Josiah... perhaps sometime soon I'll upload a video of him playing his adjudication pieces, this video is just a little one of his interaction with the professor. We can't wait to see him use this talent for God - for it's only because of Him that we have any talents at all.

Dr. Savage... (that was her name!) Listening and "grading" Josiah.

The kids before we left the house that day. :)
