Our Family Christmas

We celebrated our family's Christmas last night (Tue.), since we thought we would have the Cantata tonight and on Thursday we are going to celebrate with our extended families. But our Cantata was cancelled again because of more snow and poor driving conditions. We always have our own family's Christmas on a "strange" night in December, just because it needs to work out with Dan's work schedule. It was a wonderful evening with Christmas music and the excitement and joy of children. Just wanted to share some photos.

The photos were taken with our little pocket Olympus because the Nikon was all fogged up from being in the car. :) We took some other photos with the nice camera, but they are more of a pain to get onto the computer... so I only have these to share for now. :)

Merry Christmas!!

First we do stockings... they have a few toys but mostly needs and some candy. :)

Keturah pretty much was in chocolate heaven. There are only 2 times a year that we let our kids eat a ton of candy and Christmas is one of them. She LOVED it. Twice a year won't hurt anybody.

A stocking stuffer from the dollar store... all little boys love bow and arrow sets.

This was ACTUALLY her brother's gift, but she loved that "piderman" was on the box and wanted to hold it for a long time.

Gabriel was SUPER excited about his legos. Each child gets one main gift, this was his.

Isaiah playing with his knight. What a wonderful evening.... gets more fun each year as they all get older!! I think we (the adults) have more fun than the kids....well, maybe not, but close! Later on we made Christmas candy and daddy went to bed since he had to work early the next day. We hope your family shares a special Christmas this year!

I love how the boys are interested in each other's gifts, too...how they're looking to see what their brothers are getting. Merry Christmas!
