We've adopted a stray kitty...

Or rather, it has adopted us. We believe that we have determined that it is a female cat, and we suspect that it is pregnant. The poor thing is soooo skinny, was just starving to death and so lethargic when we found her out back. We brought her in, tried to give her food, but she only took water and then a long nap. Later she ate a large can of tuna then slept more. She seemed protective of her belly.... so I was "examining" it, and found 2 lumps. Then the lumps moved!! I found the same results a few different times, so I think she's going to have kittens sometime soon! We have had her for about 5 days now... she goes outside when we leave and comes back home as soon as we get back, mewing to come inside. The boys are SOOO excited, they can't keep their hands off of her. Fortunately, she seems to understand this and allows all of the grabbing, pulling and man-handling that little boys can dish out. Such a sweet kitty! Dan isn't super keen on her yet, but he did go buy her a box and kitty food. We'll see how this all plays out!
