Meet "Sika"
Meet our newest family member. Her name is Sika. We named her that because Sikko means "ice" in an Eskimo language, and Dan thought it was fitting because she is American Eskimo, and has ice blue eyes. We put an "a" on the end because she's a girl. She is about 6-7 weeks right now. She weighs 3.1 pounds. Her mother was American Eskimo, father is unknown. The vet thinks that she'll be about 25 pounds, which surprised me... I thought she'd be bigger. He said we'll know for sure at 3 months, because at 3 months they are 1/3 of their final bodyweight. We are in love with our little snowball and are all having fun tending to her needs.

I just love her eyes! What a cutie!
Adorable! How great if she's only 25 pounds! That'd be a great size! Keep us updated with her growth, please! She's a cutie.
