Couple's Retreat pt.1 The "Castle"

We had a wonderful time at Couple's Retreat... the weather was just perfect. Today I'm going to share some photos of a "castle" (yes, Europe is laughing at us) that we almost stayed in... it's been converted to a hotel. But there were too many haunting stories and creepy accounts to make it worth the extra money. Not that we believe in ghosts... but we believe in demons... and well, who knows what's making all the sounds people hear. BUT, we did go visit the "castle" and take a fun tour. We even snuck a few peeks at the "dungeon" (it actually said that on the door)when no one was looking... which should probably instead be called the "laundromat" and matress storage floor. LOL A fun trip that we always look forward to every year. Tomorrow I'll share some of the other photos from the weekend.

I loved the little sprouts growing up from the moss on these VERY old bricks. Made me smile.
