How did you cook YOUR food and heat your home today?? Oh, we are such whiners. We all have it so easy. I count it a priveledge and blessing to have been able to travel in Guatemala before college. In many countries around this globe the women have it much physically harder than men. Things like carrying firewood and carrying the day's water are women's work. Usually with little ones strapped on also. I saw countless women carrying enormous burdens with/on their heads in Central America. Many were carrying their goods to try and sell, many were carrying water and firewood and many also had heavy one year olds strapped onto the front.

This is how countless women heated their food and homes today. Let's be thankful.
