Piano lessons are a fun day in our home. Yes, it can be inconvenient to interrupt the school day and get everybody dressed and out of the house... but what better reason than to study music! I took some photos recently at piano lessons and thought I would share some of what we do...Isaiah and Gabriel bring along some of their schoolwork to work on. Keturah too, sometimes.
The younger children are allowed to play with Mrs. Balter's toys as long as they are very quiet about it. If they are not, they have to sit with me on the sofa.

Here's some of what I do while I wait... or I read, make grocery lists, make couponing plans for the week. Apparently I was ahead on this game, but I'm sure it didn't last. Billie is a tough competitor!

Precious memories often come from the simplest times. What a blessing that you have the privilege of investing in your kids through music.
